Mariapaola Testa
Mariapaola is a Principal in the Tech team at Apax Partners. She is based in the London office and focuses on investments across the technology sector, with a particular emphasis on enterprise IT services, software, and fintech.
Since joining Apax, Mariapaola has been involved in a number of investments, including ThoughtWorks, Lutech, Finomnia, EcoOnline and Odido. She currently serves on the boards of Cyderes, Lutech and Finomnia.
Prior to joining Apax, Mariapaola was a consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in London, where she worked with private equity clients and venture capital-backed startups. She also founded Futurely, an education technology company that became a market leader in the Italian coaching market.
Mariapaola holds a degree in Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
