Rory is Field CTO at Cyderes, bringing deep experience across Security Operations, cybersecurity strategy, and emerging technologies.
Throughout his career, he has held nearly every role within the SOC, giving him a practical understanding of the challenges security teams face in managing risk, prioritizing threats, and operating across complex environments. In his current role, Rory helps shape the strategy and direction of Meridian while working closely with customers and security leaders to improve visibility, strengthen decision-making, and drive greater value from their security investments.
His expertise spans SIEM, EDR, detection and response, threat and exposure management, governance, and compliance. Prior to entering cybersecurity, Rory worked in Scottish law enforcement, specializing in intelligence and surveillance.
